Rack rusting in less than 2 years.

Dishwasher is quiet and cleans well but the plastic parts are not holding up. We had one of the rack clips break within a week and now the upper rack is rusting. I wouldnt expect this to happen in less than 2 years of usage.

Control panel cracks normal use look up lawsuit

READ BEFORE BUYING: This is a great dishwasher until the control panel cracks after normal use which renders it unusable. Theres is a known issue with all seemingly all LG Quadwash dishwashers. There is at least one lawsuit about their known control panel cracking issue which will cause the control panel to start turning itself off and pressing other buttons by itself at random mid cycle rendering the dishwasher unusable. There is clearly water ingress into the control panel due to lack of proper seals and the control panel will start cracking shortly after purchase. LG will replace the control panel if your device is in warranty period 1 year after purchase date in my case but Ive read on multiple forums feel free to verify this yourself that the issue is still not fixed with the replacement and the control panel will crack again shortly after its installed. LG apparently has released a newer control panel with increased protection from water but there are many user reports that the fixed control panel also breaks but after a slightly longer time period. Im having this exact issue with my dishwasher and it is just out of warranty im waiting on a response from LG but I expect that they will fight sending a replacement for their defective dishwasher. Search for LG Quadwash lawsuit for more information to educate yourself before making this purchase. Its a shame I need to write this because we actually love the dishwasher and it works very well and is nearly silent and cleans well when its working. I wish this was not an issue consumers needed to deal with LG please actually fix this

Ive had my dishwasher just over a year and LOVE it It gets my dishes so clean and the pull out silverware tray at the top is so useful It is very quiet when running and I also like the adjustable tines for bigger items.

nice dish washer bad lg service availability

Dishwasher died October 1 2023. Showed error code of le. Requested service from lg and was told nearest service provider was in Seattle 30 miles away. Called that service provider and got his voice mail saying he was on vacation for 3 weeks. Replaced with new dishwasher from Costco and installer informed me lg dishwasher was installed incorrectly with return hose not elevated causing motor to burn out.

Receive dishwasher March 31 2023 kitchen wasnt finished being remodeled installed may 2 2023 had to leave town. Return October starting using dishwasher found water on floor under new cabinets. Call LG said inside upper right hand corner was damaged and needs replacing. Has dent and hole LG Said they didnt do must of happened in transportion from Home Depot. Home Depot said should of found damage in 48 hours. Our rating 0 because couldnt use our brand new LG dishwasher cause no one replaced it

WIFE SAYS GET THIS DISHWASHER OUT OF MY HOUSE

Just installed dishwasher last month the packaging showed no damage at all but we noticed a dent in the top of the rear of the tub thought it was cosmetic so I siliconed the separate with silicone. I had purchased 6 months earlier for a total house remodel I was doing for myself. I am a General Contractor in business for over 45 years. Well from day one its showing an error code which I have trouble shot with no success. Getting help from the supplier has been a nightmare they send me to LG LG sends me back to supplier. Just completed the 2 nd round going for my third but wait a minute my times to valuable. Pulling the dishwasher today and throwing it away NO MORE LG FOR US

The dishwasher does what is supposed to do wash dishes. My issue is with the control panel that looks disgusting. We have used this dishwasher for 2 1/2 years on a daily basis and with CLEAN hands press the controls to run it. Over the past year the ink of the control panel has been melting into the faceplate and it looks awful. Today I had a live chat that took 45 minutes and NOBODY could resolve my issue. I was told that it was cosmetic and that the warranty did not cover it. I was willing to purchase a new control panel faceplate so they gave a bunch of numbers to call. One is a scam the other after waiting for 20 minutes I was disconnected. The third one I called four times is always busy. On top of that LG has left me alone trying to figure out the number of the part that I need to fix the dishwasher Is this a great customer service? I DONT THINK SO. My problem is that ALL top of the line appliances in our home are LG. Hopefully if I am super lucky I will not have another issue. I will follow my complaint to BBB and to the site where I bought the dishwasher so consumers are aware of the problem.

I purchased this dishwasher recently. Issues with this dishwasher: 1 - its loud 2 - the sanitize setting takes forever to run over 3 hours 3 - parts of the lowest level draw are falling off and cant be put back because clips broke off which you would think it should take a bit more wear and tear 4 - no matter what setting you use the dishes and cups and others do not dry. I have to let it air dry for a bit. Positives: 1 - its sleek and shiny exterior 2 - although the sanitize setting takes over 3 hours dishes do come out clean.

Disastrous Durability: A Frustrating Experience

We purchased our dishwasher just over a year ago and unfortunately it has proven to be a source of constant disappointment. In its brief 1.25-year lifespan it has broken down an astonishing four times. Each instance has been a different issue ranging from a faulty control panel to a malfunctioning fan in the door and most notably repeated problems with the sprayer. The initial failure of the control panel was a concerning start but we chalked it up to bad luck. However as subsequent issues arose our confidence in the product began to erode. Having to replace the fan in the door was an unexpected inconvenience and the need for sprayer replacement occurred not once but twice further underscoring the poor build quality. Regrettably the dishwashers subpar performance in cleaning dishes only compounds our frustration. It consistently falls short of our expectations. Even after multiple repairs its cleaning abilities remain lackluster leaving us to question the efficacy of the entire machine. Having owned various dishwashers over the past 30 years this one unequivocally stands out as the worst. Its unreliability and mediocre cleaning performance have left us deeply dissatisfied. We cannot recommend this product to anyone seeking a reliable and effective dishwasher.

Recommend Finding Different Model

Purchased original unit in June 2022 it failed within 2 weeks and was replaced in July 2022. In August 2023 just outside the 1 year warranty noticed second unit had developed several cracks in the top plastic control panel. A little research on the internet brought to light this has been an ongoing problem with the LDP6810SS model. Fortunately I had purchased an extended warranty and the unit has been repaired by replacing the top control panel with a forward facing control Panel. Ive purchased several LG products in past years and have been very pleased with their performance and durability. Not so impressed with this dishwasher.

LG Dishwasher Looks Nice but Has Electrical Issue

The control panel starts beeping and regardless if you address it on the panel and restart it or turn of the circuit breaker the issue still remains. This keeps you from running your dishwasher on normal cycle.

Great while it worked

I bought this product in December and had it installed in my newly remodeled kitchen in March. As of Aug 15 it is no longer working. I have called customer service 3 times and keeping getting told I need to wait for a call back. Seems like LG doesnt want to honor the warranty.

Needs better door latch mechanism

Great for first year

Its quiet cleans well looks nice connects to wifi but wont finish 7/10 cycles because some sensor in the door says the door isnt closed an hour into the cycle. Dont think about starting this thing at night or while your leaving for work and think youll come back to a finished cycle with clean dishes after a year. Its extremely inconvenient and frustrating to have this problem with an appliance that is barely over a year old. Even more annoying that I have dishes to wash several times a week for a family of 4. We bought this dishwasher about 10 months ago. It has never operated well from the beginning. Electronics have always been troublesome and have now ceased working. Working with product support we have replaced the control board and the main PBC. Neither fixed the problem. We are awaiting replacement or refund of the unit.

Absolute nightmare sounds like semi truck

Absolute worst dishwasher I have ever owned. My college dorm dishwasher functioned better. We can only run it when we know we are going to leave the house because it is louder than a semi truck. Leaves the dishes soaking wet. Did not even last a month before its started malfunctioning. Tried to file a claim under warranty but LG stated nothing could be done because it goes off the day it was ordered and not the day it was delivered. And did I mention it took over 6 months for it to be delivered Therefore voiding the warranty almost immediately after installation. Will never buy a LG product again. Would not even offer to exchange out for an alternative. Buyer beware

Great features and smart capabilities but doesnt

I bought my LG Dishwasher last May. There is a one year warranty. Three months after the warranty the dishwasher cant complete a cycle and the error says the heater isnt working. It is very hard to find repair people as many of them wont work on LG products here. If you do have one there is a filter that is a bit hard to find that is very important to keep clean. I did love being able to see the status and diagnosis from my phone. I liked that I could add cycles and the other smart functions.

quiet got a good deal.

I picked this dishwasher up at an amazing discounted price at Costco Canada. So far so good spectacular feature set and very quiet. Good warrany A few installation woes according to manual dont even think about this dishwasher if your sink is on the right side of the dishwasher. Quirky ergonomics that is the top controls will be likely invisible from above when closed due to your counter top. Need to open the dishwasher while running to read the remaining time. END will disappear instantly when opened etc. Also be aware of the wifi function of the dishwasher communicating with the cloud which I suspect may/will be easily attacked as well as your router which needs to be open for this feature. The bottom blend is subpar.

Worse Dishwasher

The worse dishwasher that I have ever own. The latest issue is the control panel have a flaw and will crack over time. LG knows of this problem and has extended the warranty to 3 years but getting them to admit to the problem and honoring their warranty is IMPOSSIBLE. This is the last LG product that I will buy.

Very good machine

I like my machine because it washes well and is very quiet. The reasons for the 4 stars are the machine doesnt dry very well the pump failed before it was a year old and the LG website was very difficult to use to set up the warranty work. All in all however a good machine at a good price.

DW Leaked from Day One

This particular dishwasher was junk and LG did not stand behind their warranty. They sent out three repairmen six times. They replaced all the seals and even replace the entire door and the unit still leaked but LG said they would not replace it and would keep sending out repairmen. We were without our DW for over 6 months not to mention it was getting our cabinets and floor wet after each use. . We ended up trashing it and buying a different brand that works great. We needed a DW and were tired of LG jerking us around

LG Dishwasher From PC Richard

I bought this from PC Richard with a service plan. Dishwasher is Very noisy like a helicopter taking off. PC Richard has been at my home 5 times to repair it but the repairman isnt able to. LG was ver accommodating and sent out their service tech. He was very knowledgeable but the dishwasher is just not cooperating.

Great Technician terrible customer support

I purchased this dishwasher during my kitchen remodel and a couple of weeks ago after having the dishwasher stored for a couple of months I hired a plumber to professionally install it. To my surprise there was a defective and he told me to contact the manufacturer. I went online and contacted LG and I was sent a technician quite quickly. Unfortunately he was not able to fit it ASAP but he figured out the problem it was something he had never seen a torn hose. He had to reorder that item. We waited about a week and when it arrived the technician arrived too and he tried to fix it and when he was installing it he noticed the hose was slightly torn. He glued it with a powerful adhesive and we left it overnight but it did not work. He still ordered another hose and another part. I tried to talk LG I think her name was Veronica about the problem but the person on the line sounded like she had no concern as if I was another number and said I LG could not give me another dishwasher even though it was not my fault that LG sold me a problematic/defective LDP6810SS Dishwasher. I am just highly concerned especially because I just finished remodeling my kitchen and this dishwasher if it continues to cause problems can be the cause of the destruction or damage to my new kitchen.

I bought this a month ago and really like the different cleaning modes as well as the top shelf for flatware. having an adjustablee middle shelf helps when washing taller items on the bottom shelf or on the middle shelf. I like that it cleans quietly

Doesnt work

We bought this dishwasher when we built a new house. From the start if didnt clean the dishes well. After only a few months it would get partway through a cycle and give an error message. Eventually it would not run at all. After two service calls it is still not working. It has been extremely challenging dealing with customer service. The first ordered replacement part was supposed to arrive in a day or two but took a week. The repair person didnt seem to have any parts on hand.

Purchased just over a year ago and have already had 3 service calls. The dishwasher is super quiet which is why we bought it. Over time it became louder and louder. LG has replaced the pump 3 times now. Usually takes a month or two before the noises return - fingers crossed the noise will not return.

I bought this dish washer less than 2 years ago from ABC warehouse. Initially we loved it can clean dishes. Recently the error code started to show up. I called service department. The technician checked and told me that control module might be broken. I need to pay $300 to repair. I decided to give it up. Since then the error code is on and off. I have to avoid some functions to wash the dishes. The control module becomes unpredictable.
